I was listening to the radio today and heard an issue ad that was thanking Senator Corker for "raising questions" about the Lieberman/Warner bill that addresses global warming.

I've been critical of the Club for Death Growth for attacking and defeating moderate Republicans in favor of "conservative" candidates who eventually go on to lose to Democrats in the general election.  Once might be an accident.  Multiple times is a mission.

But now - in a time when even the major oil companies have abandoned their opposition to climate change science -- the Club for Growth is taking up the cause to stop rational and resonable legislation to preserve and protect the world that God entrusted us with.

Is there any evil cause they will not support?  Ads that encourage spreading AIDS?  Ads that encourage nuclear proliferation?  Ads that encourage people to commit suicide?

Club for Growth and MoveOn.org need to be abolished.  They were fine at the beginning of their existence, but they've become nothing more than pure partisan hack mongers without any real message other than "our political party is good, members of the other party should not be considered human beings."

"Our political party is good, members of the other party should not be considered human beings."

Isn't that the slogan of MoveOn.org?

At least they support their own political party, Club for Growth doesn't even manage to do that.

Glad to see we're being reasonable.

And I love how you label Club for Growth candidates as "conservatives" as if they're fake conservatives yet you continue to call some of the people they oppose (Lincoln Chafee) moderate.

How is Lincoln Chafee not moderate? Sure he is a right leaning moderate but a moderate none the less.
