Surprising. I thought Iowa was a safe Obama state this year (seriously).

Iowa will of course be close this year but Obama has a good chance of winning it. As long as the war goes on I think Iowa stays with the dems.

Iowa will not be a swing state for Obama.  There will be a huge turnout, and Obama did amazingly well in the primaries.

I'm not going to comment on all the polls, but quite frankly the Rasmussen state polls, when put together, taking in normal issues, show somewhat close to a tied race.  That's all is needed to take into account right now.

Iowa has always been a swing state and I see no reason why it would not be this year but yes Obama is likely to win it.
