You have already seceded from the Dirty South, and are thus ineligible to recall an elected official. Also, how are we dictators, since we are letting the Southerners vote on this?

You don't seem to understand, like your cronies, that both me and Andy have rejoined your "Dirty South".

Oh, sorry. I did not know that.

Well, it would seem the next logical step is to bring criminal charges against you for leaving.

Haha. Are you being serious there? You want to sue me for rejecting your ideas?

No, I want to sue you for leaving the region.  In case you haven't noticed, you and Andy Jackson are the only ones that have left the region (and Atlasia for that matter).  The rest of us have simply stated we wish to ignore certain federal laws pending that would drastically hurt the Southeast.

Why is it so damn hard to understand that we have "come back" to the region. In addition, I only staged a coup and never declared my intentions to establish a durable state independent of Atlasia and all.

You cant have it both ways, my friends. You denounced our loving region and left for another land. You can't come and go as you please. We have borders, you know.

And if we were dictators, we would not even call a vote. But you can't simply leave and come back when it's okay with you. That's like me switching regions to vote on measures I want to fail in other regions.

That's not what we're trying to do either.

You denounced our loving region and left for another land.

Yes, we denounced our region, because we don't like the way politics are being done here. Is that forbidden? If so, then I'm truly sorry, Herr Diktator.

You can't come and go as you please. We have borders, you know.

And those borders include Texas and Puerto Rico. We didn't leave to another region. And, in addition, John Dibble, your Chief Magistrate, has declared that he never recognized the legal existence of Columbia and my government in Puerto Rico.

And if we were dictators, we would not even call a vote.

Russia has elections too, you know.

But you can't simply leave and come back when it's okay with you.

We never left the borders of the Southeast region, unless you passed a secret resolution that changed the borders of the Southeast.

That's like me switching regions to vote on measures I want to fail in other regions.

Nobody ever switched regions here.

I say let Hashemite & Andy Jackson sign the petition. If we can acheieve our objectives while extending all possible courtesies to our political enemies, then there can be no doubt that this is the will of the people, & not of a few dictators.

Besides, unless we plan on appealing to the Supreme Court (which isn't going to change anything), we have no real recourse against Magistrate Dibble's ruling. Sad

Correct. It's doubtful they would even bother to hear the case unless you had federally related grounds to argue on, such as any federal laws that might contradict the regional laws used to make my ruling.

Your friends should listen to your voice, which is the only sane and democratic voice of the gang.

Not a problem. I find that when you debate something (like comparing two video game characters), one of the most powerful arguments you can make is giving the opposition every possible advantage. If you can still win in that case, then there can be no doubt that your side is stronger.

Though in this case, to do so would just be following Dibble's ruling, so it's not actually comparable. You know what I mean though. Wink
