I thought he would surely be a contender for Iowa, and thus maybe become a more serious candidate for the Democratic Nomination. However, after only two months...he dropped out due to finances. What do you think Vilsack's future could have been...or still might be...if he's the VP nominee? Could he run again in 2012 still as a "Former Iowa Governor"?

he wont be the vp on hillary's ticket given his poor performance running her iowa campaign.

i cant see him ever running for president again either.

If and when Chuck Grassley retires, Vilsack could run for Senate.  Otherwise, I think he's probably done with politics in terms of elective office.
