Not in and of itself - I would check to see why the forumer in question supported that candidate, see if those reasons are justified, and my opinion of the candidate would adjust according to my own opinions.

I would say your support (along with David Duke's support) of Ron Paul has made me think a little less of him. I'd still vote for him over Clinton though.

I can't say that I have consciously altered my opinion of any candidate based on another forumite's endorsement of that candidate.

Like Dibble said, not really. Occasionally, if it's someone who's judgement I trust it may.

Yes, of course.

More information about anyone is likely to inform my opinion of them (as well as the maker of the comment).
(This also applies beyond opinions on people, but also issues or whatever.)

But the degree to which it will affect my opinion, and the way in which it will do so, is dependent on such things as:
  • Which forumite is expressing the opinion; why they're expressing the opinion; and their reasoning;
  • My familiarity with the politican/issue in question.

Person x's opinion on issue y would not affect my opinion on issue y unless I had no judgment criteria save for the opinion of person x, and I had reason to believe person x had sufficient familiarity and objectivity to be trusted.
