Damn, only two. Lemme see:

1. Bob Taft
2. Chuck Hagel

Tom Tancredo, Lincoln Chafee, Saxby Chambliss, Arlen Specter, Ron Paul, George Voinovich, Dick Lugar, John Warner, and Gordon Smith deserve dishonorable mention, and probably many more.

NDN and I are far closer to the Democrat Party's ideal state of liberty and justice than Show me Indy.

a more difficult thing for me would be to name two people from my party who I would, in fact, vote for.

For President?

Brownback & Huckabee (plus a few others, easily)

Although I might not be opposed to voting for them for some lesser office.

Haha, so true.  What's even weirder is it is actually EASIER for a Democrat than it is for a moderate Republican in Oklahoma.  Just look at the state constitutional offices -- six out of the nine offices are held by Democrats, including Governor Brad Henry (D-Shawnee) nearing the end of his 5th year, Lt. Governor Jari Askins (D-Duncan) at the end of her first year, and many others down the ballot.  This time last year, the Democrats only held four of the nine offices with then-Lt Governor Mary Fallin (now Congresswoman for District 5) and former Labor Commissioner Brenda Reneau (R) who got replaced by Democrat Lloyd Fields.

I think its only a matter of time before those Democrats filter up into federal offices, such as Senator.  Currently, only Congressman Dan Boren of District 2 is the only Democrat in the 5 seats.  However, I do think that Jim Inhofe is not locked in for re-election next year.  I think Democratic State Senator Andrew Rice (Oklahoma City) will provide a pretty formidable challenge to Inhofe.  Inhofe still has the advantage, but he's not guaranteed re-election by any means.
