So who is leading for the GOP in Wyoming anyway? I'll guess Romney but there isn't a very significant Morman population here like in Idaho and obviously Utah.

11% Mormon, basically the same as Nevada. That's enough to guarantee Romney victory. The Wyoming GOP caucus's been the same date as New Hampshire for a while, though, so the change isn't huge.

Damn, Iowa probably is going to move to this year.

Wiki doesn't have a poll for Wyoming.

Yeah I don't recall seeing any polls for the Dems or the GOP this year in Wyoming... I guess we are going to get some now.

It could end up being a decent state for Paul.

The Democrats are holding a primary in March, so they probably won't get polled (unless the polling outfit polling Republicans decides to do Democrats, too). Wyoming has the fewest delegates to the DNC of any state, 18.

Romney will win it.  Wyoming is part of the Mormon triangle, and it's okay to vote for a candidate based on his religious beliefs (but it's not okay to vote against him on the same basis).

How about David Duke while we are at it?

Yeah, this is getting almost obsene.  New Hampshire and Iowa will have no choice but to go before Wyoming... so I would not be surprised if the first primary is held this year.  Hell, in 2012, the primaries might be held a full year before the general.

Gotta love the hypocrisy.

This rescheduling of primaries lark is getting right out of hand. No, .... in fact ... it's totally out of hand

The RNC should refuse to seat any of Wyoming's delegates.

But those types of actions don't make a difference anymore.  There is little chance of a split convention (although I would say the Republicans have a slightly larger chance), so delegate are unimportant.

Well, there's really no other way to punish them/ prevent states from doing this. I guess they could threaten to withhold funds from the state, but that would actually hurt the party.

At least Wyoming is a caucus, and not a primary...and one that's a foregone conclusion for Romney, as well.  It's entirely possible that Iowa (and the rest of the country) may just choose to ignore it.

No doubt.  I'd advise just about every non-longshot campaign to ignore Wyoming, Romney's included.

I'd still like to see a poll done shortly.
