I'm not one that usually goes out and shops at Potomac Mills (too large/crowded), but this might be enough to drag me out of the house.

"Immigrant Groups Plan Boycott in Prince William"

MANASSAS, Va. - How much economic power do immigrants have? A local group plans to put that to the test as part of the debate over illegal immigration.

A week-long boycott is underway in Prince William County, where immigrants are upset over a new policy limiting county services to illegal immigrants. Ricardo Juarez with Mexicans Without Borders is asking the immigrant community to only frequent businesses that display an official sign of support.

The first target will be the Potomac Mills Mall.

Juarez is asking people to shop in communities outside of Prince William, like in neighboring Fairfax County, and the city of Alexandria.

Greg Latique, from Help Save Manassas says the boycott could backfire.

"The business community is going to be outraged at this. I know a lot of citizens are outraged at this."
