Technically, she was referring to Iran in her prior statement, while this entirely pointless recent discussion is about Pakistan.

Why she'd say something like that is beyond me (she's right, but there have got to be better ways of attacking Obama other than "he wouldn't nuke Pakistan")

One of the greatest monstrosities commited during modern war was the unnecesary bombing of Nagasaki. All presidential candidates should rule out a preemptive nuclear strike, as that would only be abiding by the Constitution. However, I think it would be bad to rule it out during a time of war, as mutually assured destruction was very effective in preventing nuclear war during the Cold War.

So how did Hoover make your list of villians?

His interference in the economy during the Great Depression (primarily the Smoot-Hawley Tariff) is what got him in there. That doesn't mean I didn't like Hoover's non-interventionist rhetoric during WWII, though. Notice who the two guys next to Hoover are.

I did notice them.. which is why I wondered originally why Hoover was there.

Where's Mike Gravel when you need him?  He needs to ask Hillary some questions.
