I was just wondering if there was any stunch support among Senators to ratify US membership in the League of Nations in 1919?

It was largely a partisan issue (and the GOP controlled the Senate).  The principle objection raised was over Article X.  The republicans (led by Henry Cabot Lodge, grandfather of the 1960 GOP VP candidate of the same name) argued that faithful adherence to Article X would require the United States to place its Armed Forces at the disposal of the League.  Given that Article X only gives the League the right to advise, not command the use of force, I think the GOP was looking more for a political bone to pick than anything else, especially given what the League actually accomplished.
