You did better than I expected. Shame on me. I really got not a single vote beyond those I could take utterly for granted. Of course these were almost enough to ensure victory outright, and were enough in the end, but still... this isn't going to be a safe seat as long as I'm in it, I guess. Smiley

Well, I was hoping Cheesewhiz would log in at the last minute and get the PM I sent him so he would cast the vote that would make this a run-off. Thanks for the encouragement. I originally was going to give u when you were beating me 4-2, but then I thought that I should PM some voters to remind them to vote. Had I not done that, it probably wouldn't have been so close. But, anyway, good luck in the Senate. As for the last part, look to expect a rematch, but in the meantime, what job am I again?, oh yeah, I'm the Lt. Gov. of the Midwest! I need to start being active there now that I'm not campaigning for Senate Tongue.

In fact, you remind me of the President of Poitou-Charentes, Segolene Royal who was too busy campaigning to do stuff in her regional office. Lolz. Of course, you're more educated than she is.

How dare you compare me to someone as full of hot air as Segolene Royal! Tongue

But, seriously, I see how you come to that conclusion, but, as you know, the Lt. Gov. doesn't really do anything when the governor's here.

Like the regional presidents in France don't do sh**t in my humble opinion. So I guess my comparison works very well.  Smiley
