Yes, but for Rudy....or wait...I don't know. Naso and I have had a few discussions about Fred Thompson and he thinks he's basically a disaster and said he wouldn't be thrilled with him as the nominee. Then I see on Facebook today that Naso is supporting Thompson. The kid is all over the map. He'll be supporting Jim Gilmore by the end of the week.

He has to swim to shore because the lifeboats are used up and it is already underwater

On Facebook, I merely clicked "Support Fred Thompson" ...just as I support "John McCain" and "Rudy Giuliani" and "Mike Huckabee". It doesn't mean I'm changing my support to him 100%.

My Support List since 2004:

(R-CO) Gov. Bill Owens (2004-2005)
(R-SC) Gov. Mark Sanford (2005)
(R-VA) Sen. George Allen (2005-2006)
(R-AZ) Sen. John McCain (2006-)

Looking at Naso's track record, I would think you would be wanting him to support Rudy, not Fred.

I don't care who he supports. It's just that his logic and the fact that he is all over the board is annoying.

Of course, for the general election. I would gladly vote for any Republican (expect Romney...I'd be the least pleased with him) over Shrillary, Edwards and Curious Barack.

Thompson's exaggerated facial expressions and movements are strangely disturbing.

maybe he was uncomfortable in the hot sun.  also, he was jerking around too much for such a zoomed in shot.

otherwise, I tought his message was great and I think his wife and kids help bring him down to earth.

I think his wife and kids help bring him down to earth.

Which was the exact point of having them in the video, particularly since they said and did absolutely nothing.  The sole purpose of any campaign ad that features the candidate's family is to make that candidate appear to be more down to earth.

Keep in mind though, that video was for the pro-life crowd, and what better than having a young daughter and a healthy kicking baby boy as signs of being a pro-family pro-lifer?

I'm glad you agree that Thompson was using his family solely to help his own image.
