I once went to a Blackjack table at a North Dakota bar with just a $20 bill and returned with like $75. Not huge winnings in raw numbers but in terms of percentage return very lucrative. That has to be it for me.

Highest in terms of raw winnings was probably PredictIt in 2022, where I invested like $500 and basically doubled it.

Nothing more sigma than a talented gambler.
Sadly, I'm a beta as I don't gamble.

Are casinos common in Peru? Or gambling at bars, which is very common in North Dakota.

This is a dumb question. Gambling (not cheating or advantage play) is a negative EV activity, outside of maybe full pay Deuces Wild in Nevada, but who wants to play such a boring game for quarters...

I've hit a Pick 6 at Aqueduct, a few 2000x slots hits and dealt 4x quad aces w/ 2,3,4 on Ultimate X - all required significant investment to achieve. Full pay video poker and craps with odds are the only remotely fun forms of gambling that aren't financially stupid to play, but obviously even then, you have more fun when you ramp up the variance and house edge.

I've only gambled once, technically made a 250% gain though it was with complimentary credits and not my own cash.

Blackjack in North Dakota is fun because the minimum bid is just $2, so even if you lose you don't have to lose a ton, and you can still have fun.

Casinos are common.
Sport gamble spots are common too.
There are some gamble bars, but I have only seen 1 in Miraflores. Nothing common.

I've only been to a casino once in my life, for my bachelor party weekend. There, I did surprisingly well on roulette. I don't recall how much, but I think I ended up being a couple hundred up. And then I lost most of that when I went back to the blackjack tables.

I've used a sportsbook app mostly for football and March Madness the last few years. If I was more selective I could probably very slowly work my way up in the positive, but I have generally hovered around even over the long run.

None. I'm naturally risk-adverse and don't believe in gambling.

When I worked at an Air Force Base, I was in a monthly(ish) poker game with some other contractors and a couple of officers.  There was an initial $20 buy-in, and one night everything went my way and I walked out with $240 for an 1100% profit.

On the evening of March 21, 2020 I placed a $5,000,000 prop bet that Atlas was going to change its name within the next week.  10:1 odds.  Made bank.
