People who do this should realize that Atlasia is dead and move on.

I think forum related group/text chats are fine but it's sort of silly to do stuff like promote it on ones personal social media accounts. Regardless I'll still sign since doing so may reduce the amount of drama it could cause.

I WITHDREW A BIT FROM THIS SITE AND THE OUTSKIRTS FOR A FEW REASONS

1) all the atlasia campaigning

2) come on now?? people seriously think a special election means anything for November? it means nothing.. with the possible exception that democrats may be under polling and the tables have turned

3) people thought early in 2004 cycle kerry would win.. 2008.. mccain was favored to start.. 2012 obama was doa.. 2016 clinton was a shoe in and 2020 people thought was late as the day before that biden would win in a near reverse 1988.

On AAD I honestly called multiple posters on the phone like an old timey party boss so I could swing some of the moderator elections.

did you really though?  the results were not what I was expecting (a Muslim children's magazine...and digging further, it's the last name of a character in TYPE-MOON (whatever the hell that is) and a mapmaking tool and finally, far far down the list is a nation at NationStates called Atlasia that I have to assume is related to our nerds...and if you keep scrolling past a bunch of weird sh**t, you'll eventually find a link to here...the Google spiders don't like us very much.)

Ah. Well, I was one of the beneficiaries, so I'll let that one slide. Smiley

Yes. I first googled just Atlasia and that was useless. So I googled atlasia elections which linked to Introduction to Atlasia on TE.

Just to be sure: did you *give* these people your contact information, or did they find it somehow? I assume you’re referring to the former here, but the alternative would be very scary (not that I condone it either way).
