96 hours passed at Feb 4 at 12:06 pm. As such votes past then are not counted and will not be counted unless a senator asks for a rules suspension to count votes past that deadline.

Aye: 6 (MB, Muaddib, fhtagn, CM, TPH, Reagente)
Nay: 5 (Pyro, WB, LT, Jay, Nerd)

The bill passes. Considering the amount of votes past the deadline I will wait to present this to the president (as well as update the wall of shame) in case a senator wishes to count votes made to this point, which would result in a 7-7 tie.

There is also the question of counting Laki’s vote as he was a senator at the time but is not one now. If his vote is counted the bill would be tied, or it fails if all votes are counted

I don't think there is a scenario where a senator's vote would cease to count outside of a departing senator being replaced, at the start of a new session or otherwise, which hasn't happened here.

With regard to the count I would be inclined to include the late votes because seven not voting is pretty bad, but I am not a floor officer and personal preference will always play a role in these matters.

Is there precedent for stripping a senator's vote out of a tally if they have resigned?

mixed up TPH and Rfayette.

Looking at previous precedent, I am counting Laki's vote as well, which makes the current vote a 6-6 tie.

Aye: 6 (MB, Muaddib, fhtagn, CM, Rfayette, Reagente)
Nay: 6 (Pyro, WB, LT, Jay, Nerd, Laki)

Should all votes be counted, the vote shall be 8-7 against. Otherwise Cath will be contacted to make the tiebreaking vote.

is there an objection to waiving the rules to allow all votes to be counted?
