The people voted down SB 117-54 at referendum over it containing a similar provision. I will oppose this legislation in accordance with the will of the people, notwithstanding my personal views.

This bill is meant to reverse the trend of abortion providers including Planned Parenthood, primarily operating within majority-minority neighborhoods. While I oppose abortion at a personal level, I feel as though this would be a step in the right direction when it comes to reversing the longtime stain of racism on this nation.

Call me crazy but the government should not be banning non-white people from getting healthcare. This bill is on the verge of being explicitly racist on top of its already blatantly anti-choice basis.
