Jack Thompson has sued the website kotaku.com, apparently over refusal to delete user comments regarding a rebuttal of comments he made on Fox regarding the VA Tech shootings.

http://kotaku.com/gaming/legal/jack-sues-kotaku-255321.php
Today Jack Thompson amended one of his many suits, adding Gawker Media and Kotaku to the list of judges and the Florida Bar he is seeking injunctive relief from.

The amended suit was initially filed on March 13th against the Florida bar. On April 11 he added the members of the Florida Supreme Court. And today he added Gawker. Brian Crecente

Read the document he submitted - I don't know whether to laugh at how ridiculous it is or cry because such a stupid idiot is actually living on this planet.

Complaint

He's basically saying there's a massive civil conspiracy against him, lol.

This one is gold:

He's also used "LOL" before, too.

What? He can't use internet terminology if he hates all modern technology and computers. There has to be a rule against that type of hypocrisy.

What an attention whore. That's really all he is, I doubt that even he believes what he tells people like Fox News. This is just his way to make a name for himself.

Only as a Republican.  If he runs for something as a Democrat I'm becoming an independent. Tongue

So apparently not only is Thompson so stupid as to sue a gaming website over user comments, he apparently couldn't even do it right:

Kotaku Suit Goes Bye-Bye Over Thompson Screw-up
So, how’s that Law 101 class going?

Federal District Court Judge Paul Huck has dismissed a complaint filed Wednesday against Gawker Media, parent company of the popular Kotaku game blog. In his ruling, Judge Huck wrote that controversial attorney Jack Thompson had failed to follow the proper federal court procedure for amending a complaint.

For his part, Thompson admits his mistake and pleads ignorance (we’ll buy that), citing distractions he says were caused by the Florida Bar and an unnamed game website which published his home address and phone number.

Thompson vowed to the Court that he will re-file the Kotaku complaint, this time in accordance with the rules.

LOL

You gotta be kidding me.  This guy is a lawyer?  How the f**k does someone who uses internet lingo and "NOT!" in legal documents and who apparently has a tenuous grasp of basic legal proceedings manage to pass the bar exam?

Who knows, but there have been rumors that he may get disbarred - wouldn't that be a wonderful day!

Who really cares what his political affiliation is? Idiots populate all political parties. The important thing is recognizing he's an idiot.
