If Bob Dole had become the Presidential Nominee in 1988 with Jack Kemp as VP who would you vote for/who would win?

I would have to say Dole/Dukakis

No Contest. Dole.

As much as I like Bush Sr, Dole's a far better speaker (relatively), is also a veteran and would have probably not looked as awkward as 41.

Kemp is a far better VP as well. Quayle...don't get me started.

There would have been no Jack Kennedy gaffe for Bentsen to seize on.

And that willie horton ad would still be used if Dole needed it.

Dukakis goes down in bigger flames than he really did.

Dole would win, he, like Bush, would have ridden on Reagan's coat tails.

Dole would win big. Dukakis was pretty hapless as a Presidential candidate.

Interesting, since you voted for Dukakis in real life. What changes your mind? Just like Dole better than Bush?

Yes.

It's kinda like if McCain was running against Kerry.  I would vote for McCain, but I support Kerry because I dislike his opponent.
