He also said he's gonna use the agencies to push back against "woke ideology"... whatever that entails

This guy’s a nut. Can’t understand how he was ever viewed as a threat to Trump for the nomination.

The Department of Education should be given total control over all schools in the country. Anyone who wants to leave the next generation's education to the nutto school boards of Frog Balls, Arkansas is not a sane or intelligent person. I utterly detest this idea that parents should have veto power over what their students learn in school.

Didn’t Ted Cruz campaign on these ideas? I clearly remember Cruz campaigning on the promise that he’d abolish the IRS and make taxes “so easy that you could it on a postcard”

Ron Paul might’ve had similar plans. But I can’t recall
Cruz campaigned explicitly on a flat tax and abolishing the IRS in 2016, yes. It was equally nutty then.

Problem is, what happens when a Republcian becomes president, and appoints one of those loons to be in charge of the Department of Education?

We've heard this nonsense before.  Will DeSh*thead forget which federal departments he wants to abolish, just like Rick Perry?

Good; we should try to spread views like this through the Democratic as well as the Republican party.

He was always a vile nutbar. Although I find it a little suspicious that he so reliably speaks in ways that make Donald look good by comparison, in the end I suspect that he's really just terrible (and always has been).
