Labour enjoys a massive polling advantage for the upcoming election, so it seems likely they will win a robust majority in the House of Commons under the Westminster system. In the 1997 Labour landslide, Blair's party ended up with 418 seats. In 2001, they still got 412. Can Labour beat the 418 this time?

If current polls prove accurate, I think that's possible.

It's starting to look like the Tories want this to happen.

I say no because polling usually over estimates Labour and with Farage not standing I think most of the Reform vote eventually comes back to the Tories. Which likely brings what’s being shown now (the 47-20 YouGov poll would likely mean 450 seats) back to around 370-380.
