Trade in all my cards except the Oklahoma one. That gives me another 20. Put everything in Arkansas. Attack AR-TN-VA-MD-DE-PA-NJ-NY-VT-NH-ME-MA-RI-CT, do or die moving maximum number of units.

I see that i have more time than I thought, so I'll post the actual cards.

Virginia
Nevada
New Hampshire
Oklahoma
Massachusetts
Missouri

I don't know, Gustaf, I don't think you have enough troops to do the job yet.

Well, thanks to you I have quite a bit! Cheesy Wink

Yeah, I think it's pretty much over. Hopefully, we won't have to drag this through another turn...this is why Domination really is my least prefered form of Risk - you always pass a point beyond which the game is already decided, and that kind of takes the sting out of it. Mission and Capitals on the other hand are exciting all the way.

For clarification, these were the exact cards with their associated 'pieces':

New Hampshire - Cavalry
Virginia - Soldier
Nevada - Cannon

Alaska - Soldier
Missouri - Cannon
Massachusetts - Cavalry

Yay! Smiley

Thanks to Joe for putting in the time to host the game.

I would also like to thank Akno for his unprovoked attack on Jas, Yates for his unprovoked attack on Gabu and MaC for, well, just everything. I could never have done it without you guys! Finally, thanks to Jas for putting up a nominal defence, keeping the game interesting for a longer time!

I have to admit, the following post really did leave me speechless for a minute or two:

how did you get that many RISK cards?

Really? It had me shouting obscenities for about the same period.
I suppose these things cancel each other out.

Well, you have the added incentive of him using all his armies to flatten you instead of attacking Gustaf just the turn previous.

you guys like discussing this game-hell, I think it's fun to also.  But, if you're really interested you can wait for hearing about my tactics after the game is over.  I'd be more than happy to talk at length after a winner is decided.

Now, let's hear it! I'd like to point out that my two extra set of Risk cards gave me 20 additional armies. As you may remember I ended my first series of attacks with 19 armies in Kentucky. So, basically, I could take the South and Southwest, wipe out Akno and take away all MaC's regional bonuses even without them. So, even his amazing ignorance of my pack of cards doesn't really explain his actions very well.
