I got this from politics1's description of the different groups of the democratic party, I was just curious were all of the dems would fit in.

near democratic-socialist left - option 1
center-right        - option 2
conservative - option 3
traditional liberals - option 4
"centrist" moderate-to-liberal style - option 5

Between Gephardt and Kennedy, but I went with opiton 5.  I'm about a Rep. Joe Hoeffel (D-PA) Democrat more accurately.

I voted Lieberman, although I don't think I am quite as conservative as he is. I am a centrist but I am not like Gephardt, that is for sure.

I'll say Lieberman, but Dean would match me well.

Im very Liberal at heart but I don't like Liberal democrats because they aren't electable, and therefore the Conservatives get power.

They will be someday, we just haven't gotten there yet.  Yet, I agree with you for the time being, we must stick with the lesser of the two evils, the semi-conserative dems, because there are too many ultra-conservatives on the other side.

Not very familiar with Gene Taylor, but I think I'm to the right of Lieberman on economy, so I voted for the one furthest to the right...but I think Lieberman would be a good match as well.

From VoteSmart:

Gene Taylor (D-MS)

Basically he's centre-left on economic issues and centre-right on social ones.

I voted for Gephardt

Hm, the guy seems allright, though I'm concerned about some of his positions.

I picked Barbara Lee. She was the only member of Congress to oppose a military action which was an utter mistake (I was bitterly opposed then and now), and has been an advocate for liberal causes. I would be proud to call her my congresswoman.

The only member to oppose military action? Which military operation was this?

Lee was the one who voted against the War in Afghanistan? I thought that was McKinney.
