Because of Christian television, mainly GodTV I stumbled across the other day on one of my DirecTV channels, I can no longer consider myself a Christain.

I am now a Frisbean.  As a Frisbean, I believe your soul (not mine) ends up, for all eternity, stuck on top of a roof, like a Frisbee.

Lol.

And I thought maybe this was because Jesus doesn't support the Iraq War anymore.

I never considered you a Christian in the sense of following Jesus' message.

You probably didn't consider Jesus a Christian.

Do you need proof that Frisbeanity forbids it?

Were not the first two Frisbee prototypes designed to fly straight together?

Didn’t the Frisbee Messiah uphold Frisbees who fly straight together according to the design of the original two prototypes?  And didn’t the Frisbee Messiah discuss those who were born grounded, those who were made grounded by other Frisbees, and those who ground themselves to avoid the pitfalls of flight?

And didn’t the Frisbee Messiah's chosen messenger state that the only way to avoid sinful flight was to fly straight with another Frisbee or else remain grounded?

Therefore, Frisbees that don't fly straight with other Frisbees end up stuck on the roof.

I admire your bold leap of faith, jmfcst.  I've always held a great sympathy for the way the pre-Constantine Romans treated the Frisbeans, by throwing them across large arenas and allowing them to be caught in the jaws of dogs, who then carried them back to the thrower for the whole process to be tortuously repeated.

And as we approach the time for the Frisbee Messiah (the Frisbee who descended from Heaven, the same Frisbee who ascended into Heaven) to reappear in the clouds that hid him 2000 years ago, you will see the sport of the abusive throwing of Frisbees increase in arenas.

But, on the day when the Frisbee Messiah appears to punish all Frisbees who have strayed from a straight glidepath, all Frisbees who have trusted in him, those who faithfully remained on the straight and narrow flight path, will suddenly fly away to meet the Frisbee Messiah in the air.

As it is written by one of Frisbee prophets:  “They will soar on wings like eagles”  Isa 40:31

It's not that black and white. Opebo simply said something I happened to agree with. I simply don't find jmfcsts attempts at parody remotely funny or original.

That stems from you apparent hatred of him more then anything else.

I don't hate him Jeff- I never have done. I just dislike his attitude, I find him abrasive, unfunny, bi-polar and quite a sad figure.

Ah, my mistake. I thought Verin's post was kind of odd.

And there is a mega-attack waiting to happen, ya know. Wink
