Soon as I saw the mortgage I started considering it. Yes, it is in the highest crime neighborhood in Minneapolis.

no

the idea of living in a former crack house doesn't sound like fun, no matter how gentrified the area gets.  If I had to live in Minneapolis, I would be looking for a (slightly) nicer area.

It looks nice inside.
But tell us more about those pictures in the basement.
Did a wall collapse on one side? Is that what it is showing? And do you know what they are saying, as to how it happened? Will they pay to fix it? Or would you need to be responsible for it?

As a man of your size, BRTD, you're just wasting money if you don't buy in a high-crime neighborhood.

You should buy that and also buy this in the worst place to live in North Dakota.

Also, how did the house's precinct vote?

What a dumb list. Especially since those "worst" places as it notes have quite low unemployment and some of the stats seem just made up, I doubt anywhere in ND except for some Reservation towns has a higher than national average crime rate.

ND does have a crime problem now, but it's based more on lack of infrastructure to handle them, the larger cities have basically stopped arresting people for most non-violent crimes because the jails are too small and court system doesn't have enough time. For example one of my mom's co-worker's says her cousin has a warrant out for her arrest for probation violation with weed possession (no even in ND people don't particularly care about weed and it's hardly enforced in Fargo at all, but because she's on probation it actually does matter in her case) and yet for three months since that she's been just living as normal in her Fargo apartment and working her job as a bartender. There just isn't enough jail space or court time to bother with it.

I didn't bother to look up the precinct because it's north Minneapolis so obviously Biden plus a lot. Just did and Biden 84-Trump 12.
