Unless there's something I'm missing, that looks like a fairly standard 7-2 map and not really much of a gerrymander.  I know 7-2 isn't proportional, but you'd have to make very deliberate decisions to split up cities or draw a ridiculous snake to get a 6-3 map.  Even the Democrats didn't propose a 6-3 map this cycle.

Although, I think your suburban district should include Maury County and Wilson County over Cheatham/Robertson County or the counties south and east of Rutherford.
