Other than Haley (maybe), it's likely they'd praise him for it, and commit to similar actions (or worse) if they lose.

Its possible but Trump's hardcore base didn't seem to mind Jan 6 so why would they? Those who disapprove already back someone else.

No candidate that is polling at 5% or above. The one-percenters are irrelevant, and it's not clear any of them (like Cheney) even bothers to run.

The GOP clearly hasn't abandoned Trump although he attempted a coup.
