So I didn’t watch the videos themselves (sorry I am not a movie person) but just looking at the stats, they are encouraging honestly. The ratios of likes to views are pretty good, some of your vids have a really good amount of engagement. Idk if YouTube gives you other stats like audience retainment but I would assume it’s decent if people are showing signs of engagement elsewhere.
Just keep going! A lot of this is going to be a battle of endurance. Growing a social media account anywhere honestly islike gardening. You’ll have dry and wet seasons, and there will be times when a plant just shrivels and dies. But you still have more seeds. It’s a lot of work, but keep going if this is something you enjoy/want to do. Best of luck!
The one “critique” I would have is something you also brought up about standing out. Because let’s be blunt, there are plenty of people doing what you do. That doesn’t mean you can’t grow, it just makes it more difficult. I’m not suggesting a content change per say (although if you are into politics, maybe intersecting the two and making a movie analysis with a political-flavor, and it seems like you have an opening for this but only if you want) you can also develop a distinct “vibe” that is tailored towards a specific group. Idk how exactly to explain but think about who you want watching you and subtly make sur the content is appealing to them.
Best of luck, maybe someday I will actually watch Avatar and will understand your video
