With the result of Flowers, she is on Billboard#1 for the first time since Wrecking Ball almost 10 years ago. Cyrus is probably one of the most controversial pop artists to exist, going from controleld Disney channel star to edgy performer with Bangerz. However since 2017 it seems like she has transitioned to more of a generic pop singer. Although one thing I really like about Miley is her vocals are incredible considering how raspy her speaking voice is (although thats probably because she smoked so much). If you listen to her Dolly Parton's Jolene performance in the backyard session you'll see what I'm talking about. She gives me Lady Gaga vibes in a way.

A little over rated, but people are free to choose with music.

Yeah, voted FF because I don’t really have anything against her.

I best liked her cover version of Nothing Else Matters.

Does not appear to be an antisemitic nutjob like Roger Waters or Kanye West, so ironically I will vote for her FF and them HP despite strongly preferring their music to hers.

I just completed a Mad Libs story in which Albert Einstein was the son of Miley Cyrus and Michael Jordan.

What little I've heard about her as a person is positive, so FF.

Err, no, there've been way bigger controversies in the history of popular music than her being naked in the Wrecking Ball video.

Looks good with a buzzcut though.

Seems like a decent person, and her music is inoffensive. FF.

High. Wrecking Ball is in my top 100. And I liked her movies from 10 years ago but especially HM.

I used to find her annoying as f*** and hated anything she was involved with from her TV show to her music to her dad being Billy Ray Cyrus. But over time I've re-prioritized who I spend my mental energy disliking, especially once she stopped with the whole trying to be as outrageous as possible and move on from being an innocent Disney star thing. So now I'm fairly neutral on her.

She still objectively can't sing though, I'm sorry!

That would be subjective since it's your opinion.

I think she can sing just fine. She's no Sharon Van Etten, but still.

I think there is objective measure to someone's singing talents. Whitney Houston is a phenomenal singer, Bob Dylan is not. But it's okay to like someone who can't sing. I like Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground, but I acknowledge how poor his voice can be.

Can we all at least agree that Miley Cyrus is a better singer than Camilla Cabello? I'll giver her that.

She's an awesome songwriter! I love the many songs on the Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz album she wrote by herself.
