I must say that I am somewhat saddened to have received the following PM:

If you spoil your ballot I will vote for you for senate.

If you don't, I will vote for Conan.

So you gain a net of one (1) vote by accepting this offer.  If you don't think you need the extra vote, don't accept.

Needless to say, I shall be declining the offer.  Electioneering is one thing.  Even an pre-election offer of a quid pro quo, while it would have been rejected, would not have drawn my opprobrium.  But to offer a vote in exchange for a deliberate spoiling of the ballot, that I cannot deem acceptable.

I'm surprised everyone is getting so riled up about Boss's antics.  This isn't anything new.  I mean, do you all think Boss's votes are coming from people who actually support him instead of people he PMed back to life?

To be honest, I wouldn't have minded Tweed trying to arrange a quid pro quo before my vote was cast.  But after the vote was cast was just too much.  Besides, it gave me a juicy headline to use.
