I have a lot of thoughts as to how I would balance moderate, establishment, and socialist interests in the Democratic Party, but most crucially of all, I would make Mary Peltola Chairwoman of the DCCC approximately yesterday. Someone needs to teach our candidates how to build their brand around the culture of their districts, and I've seen literally nobody else in my life understand that concept as quickly as Peltola has done with Alaska.

I don't want a celebrity in a congressional leadership role. It doesn't require the office holder to be popular like the President, they just need to be an absolute hardass who passes bills.
