I think he will, as all US presidents have done since 1972. But not without a primary challenge (from Nina Turner perhaps)? and depending on the circumstances, lose to Trump or DeSantis

I don’t think so. Dude is very obviously not with it anymore and I think he and his handlers know that.

As far as the other geriatric narcissist baboon, I do think he’ll run.

As of Summer 2022, it's practically a coin toss. The biggest factor is if Trump runs again. If one of the 2020 candidates runs, the other will likely feel obliged — Trump out of spite and ego, Biden out of believing the stakes to be too high.

Biden is more likely to run just because it’s an easy win if Trump runs

He says he will. I see no reason to disbelieve him.

I’m fairly confident he will baring a major health scare. All his actions seem to indicate he wants to run again and he’s probably the best choice democrats have that could realistically win the primary outside of maybe Whitmer.

95% sure he ultimately runs for re-election.

From his POV, it'd be stupid not to.

I don't understand why some people don't want him to run. 99% of the Democrats current problems have nothing to do with Joe Biden himself.

So in other words, old Sleepy Joe is just another hack politician who doesn't know when to quit, even when he's momentarily ahead! Maureen Dowd's Op-ed make good sense, but Joe thinks it's him and no one else who can take care of Trump! Paleeze Joe! I don't think Trump is gonna be your problem! He's gonna have problems of his own, very soon! And Ron will clean your clock! He'll even clean Kamala's clock bigly!

Yes, he will. And the Democratic Party will line up behind him.

Some of you really underestimate the advantage of incumbency.

I mean, he pretty much said so, didn't he?

Pretty sure he's actually going to run. Rarely has a sitting prez not sought reelection, and Biden wanted to be prez for 35+ years. Now that he's finally there, why give it away early? The only plausible reason for him to step aside is if his health deteriorates. That can obviously happen with a 80 year old. Odds still remain pretty high he'll end up running. And he'll face no serious primary challenge. Just minor opposition, such as Trump and Obama before.

If he thinks Trump can't or won't, its a perfect excuse for him not to! I mean does he really want to be Ron DeSantis favorite whipping boy? So Trump not running, that's his out!

It's complete delusion to suggest there's a non zero chance he voluntarily steps aside. If Biden is still alive I'm 2020, he's the nominee
