Minnesota allows counties to have an elected Board of Soil and Water Conservation Commissioners. So in counties with one there's a nonpartisan election for an office that basically no one pays attention to and knows nothing about the candidates. In 2010 a Tea Party candidate managed to win a Minneapolis-based seat on the Hennepin County board for that reason.

Thankfully in 2014 the Hennepin County Commission voted to dissolve the board and assume its responsibilities itself. But I voted for it prior to that and it wins.

I've only ever officially voted in the 2022 Iowa Democratic Primaries, where I (among other offices) cast a ballot for the only Democrats on-ballot for the Black Hawk County Recorder and County Attorney. I also wrote myself in for County Treasurer, as no Democrats were on my ballot.

Per the story I've given before, I voted for judge of elections in my precinct back home in Allegheny County. It was a writing vote because no one else was running, and I won. It basically means I was an elected poll watcher.

Precinct committeeperson. There are more positions than there are candidates and sometimes there aren’t any candidates at all and it’s all based on write ins. I’m not really sure what they do cause Oregon doesn’t have any polling stations, only mail in votes.

Party precinct committeeman and committeewoman are on my ballot this coming Tuesday.

Where I currently live, I have 7 levels of government:  federal, state, county, municipal, school, community college, and sewer.

I grew up in a rural county, where there were a ton of elected offices, including coroner and recorder of deeds.

Depends how serious you’re talking. At the most trivial level, I voted and won election to a student congress in primary school. And I voted in high school prefect elections (I know, I’m that guy, sorry). I also voted in a number of Student Union body elections, and for a couple of student society boards.

In terms of a UK Government-administered election, I’ve voted for my county council, electing councillors for a ward with around 5k voters. That’s the lowest level of formal election I’ve ever been eligible to vote in.

Constable.  In Connecticut, we have two types; those who are appointed, and those who are elected.  The former have the powers of law enforcement officers; the latter do not, and are basically service officers for the state judicial system.

Also, elected constables are prohibited from acquiring licenses to serve alcohol (which may be a CT thing...never heard of that before now)

Class delegate, basically once every year.

For an actual political office, there is nothing you vote for in Spain that is lower than city council

I guess President of my Elementary School back in the early 1980s, assuming we are not limiting the discourse as to only include "official gvt positions".

It the later is the case, pretty sure as MB previously posted, precinct committee member, would be the lowest rung of an OR official ballot, even perhaps more so than some random Sherriff in an Eastern Oregon County of ~2-3k, and where I never lived.

Elector Under Will of Oliver Smith (look it up).

I've known some pretty reprehensible sorority officers in my day (no offense to present company), but what exactly does one get impeached for?

I'm sorry, but what the Hell was going on at your sorority that caused the President to get impeached?

Student council in middle school. It was about what you would expect with it being more of a popularity contest, rather than an election about who would be the best at the job, though like I said they didn’t hold that much power. However, they did switch it so anyone who wanted to could join in my 7th grade year.
