Suppose this scenario happened:

Dems got all their Senators to agree to voting for a filibuster carveout for Court Packing, and for Court Packing legislation (which then also passes the House), doing this on a party line vote with Vice President Kamala Harris breaking the ties in the US Senate votes. They then confirm judges to fill up all the newly created seats on the Court, turning its compostition to a 7-6 Left wing majority. This is after nothing goes differently in the 2020 elections, and with no other changes to what Democrats manage to do legislatively. What happens in the 2022 midterms in this case?

Just like the Dobbs decision, it would be seen as overreach and would hurt the Democrats.

Yes, Dems held up well this year almost entirely because of don't rock the boat independent voters.  That goes out the window if they court pack or pass any Sanders style social programs.
