Using the word thug is cultural appropriation and racist
There's zilch that is wrong with cultural appropriation. Cultural appropriation is among the most stupid concepts in the world, anyway, used to enable needless gatekeeping more often than not.
Casual racism defender.
Ok SJW.
(edit: I know you aren't befitting this label, but I wanted to give your ludicrous reply all the seriousness it deserves)
I actually don't favor the usage of the label "rethuglican", but "cultural appropriation" being the reason is just silly.
He's showing his character.
Say this for Tucker Carlson; he doesn't use the snarky term "Democrat Party" like so many other FOX commentators. I've never liked this. It's the "Democratic Party". You don't need to endorse a party and its positions to call it by its given name.
I don't know who "he" is meant to refer to here (maybe the OP?), but I will make it loud and clear I'm not a fan on partisan name-calling of this variety no matter who it comes from. I agree wholeheartedly with the spirit of this post.
It's one thing to assert that the Democratic Party has been taken over by utterly awful people. It's not like the Republicans got better; it's more like the GOP stood still somewhat, while the Democrats went down the tollet.
But the Democratic Party and the Republican Party ARE our "two parties" in ELECTORAL politics. The reason for that is simple; we have a "Winner Take All" system of politics which requires people to get 50% of the vote to win, and to vote for a third party who's a better fit can lead to a final result where the majority of people are stuck with an outcome far less desirable than the establishment candidate that they would be happier with.
To vote for Jill Stein would mean that you honestly see no difference between Trump and Hillary. Ditto a vote for William Weld or Evan McMullin. That's how our system works. It's why Bernie will never be a third party candidate, and why he was wise in not becoming one.
