It’s very interesting to compare this case to other Republicans who know how to keep their mouths shut and play by the rules. Does anyone doubt that there isn’t a mountain of similar, if not even worse, material out there implicating, for example, Marco Rubio? And yet look how violently the GOP and their media allies came down on anyone who dared try to spread the truth about Lil’ Marco’s well-documented indiscretions (the Wainwright Park incident, etc.).

I watched the video and it came off to me as just a "dude-talk" joke they played off each other.  Didn't seem that serious to me.

Not that I like defending Cawthorn but this seems like a non-story.  Unless it's a Republican Establishment hit piece aimed at religious conservatives in his district, which if that's the case, well played GOP, well played.
