I've proposed this bill to formalise a procedure for the appointment and removal of the GM, as there seems to be only precedent guiding this area.

I have decided to try and alter this procedure by giving the Senate a role in the process. We have seen before GM's were removal was warranted, and clarity in the law as to the correct procedure, I feel, can only be positive.

On the appointment of GM's, I motion that the nomination be treated as per cabinet and court nominees, a simple and transparant process.

On the removal, I believe section 2's wording allows for either the President or a Senator to motion for removal and the signitures of the President and a majority of the Senate to such a motion would secure such.

This Bill has enough votes to pass. Senators now have 24 hours to change their votes

I thought checking this thread might turn up an answer to a particular question, and it did:

On the appointment of GM's, I motion that the nomination be treated as per cabinet and court nominees, a simple and transparant process.

So could we start a nomination hearing then? Smiley
