map = same?

Webb equals about as much as the "anti-feminist" choice as one could get though, so Obama would take a lot of flack on that front.  Those novels and all.  Jut like Nunn would have pissed off Gay Right's groups, Webb would have done his damage with his own interest group

that is true. But Maybe he would have won Missouri, Webb is a self-described "redneck"

Maybe Obama wouldn't have broken 60% in Delaware, and perhaps Obama does 2-3% worse in Scranton.  Meaning, there is no real difference.

Missouri is the only state that may have gone differently, and even that is not certain.

I think Webb wold have sparked a negative news cycle regarding womens groups' outrages, making it harder for Obama to drive his story of the day.

Obama would have lost North Carolina.

You heard it here first [past tense].

After the Wall Street meltdown, Obama was going to win the election, regardless of his running mate.

Though, to clarify, Webb would have been a horrible, horrible, pick, for reasons already mentioned above, plus he is an absolute crank.

But, in the final analysis, short of Obama picking a member of some radical fringe group or nut case, Obama wins.
