Nadar has written an open letter to the Democratic Party that endorses Edwards as vp. I am certain that Edwards is vp, just look at the number of trial lawyers backing the kerry campaign, but would nadar pull out of the race. was does this endorsement mean?

It means that the far left won't rebel if Kerry chooses Edwards, but we already knew that.  Edwards ia a great choice because the moderates won't rebel either.

Don't find the open letter online.  Link?  Source?  BS?

I saw the story on the news too, so it probably happened.  I can't find a link though.

Found it:
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2001963958_cdig24.html

Not much substance, however.  I wonder what Nader's gain would be from this.  Two options - Either Nader has conceded that he won't have much of an impact this time, and wants Bush out, so he's trying to help Kerry finish his ticket sooner than later to have multiple people campaigning, OR, Nader views Edwards as being a weak addition to the ticket, and possible allow Nader to gain more votes this year than last time.

In either case, it is interesting to have one candidate telling another candidate whom he should pick.

I remember this being mentioned a while ago.  Nader greatly opposes Evan Bayh as VP, who he calls as "Republican-Lite".

I think he should stick his nose out of the Dems' business.

It's also a way to get Nader in the news.

Edwards is a little conservative on gay marriage and so forth.  I guess Kucinich and Nader care more about hindering world trade and breaking our trade commitments with the world than about gay rights.

Funny, you rarely hear national Democrat talk about how other countries love free trade and almost expect us to partake of it.  Leaders around the world would be very upset if we started to take business, money and jobs away from them.  Apparently a global community means we listen to the world unless they want trade.

There's no shortage of Democrats telling Nader what to do; it seems only fair that he offer his advice to them.
