Good catch. We really wouldn't want that, so one of us would probably establish residency in another state.

Probably wouldnt be hard to establish residence in NoVA especially if you guys would have prior political experiance

This is true. I believe a lot of politicians on the Hill actually do live in NoVA (such as former Kansas Senator Pat Roberts - he actually lived in VA as a senator).
