Which states have Republican voters bases that are the most left leaning on socioeconomic as well as cultural issues? Conversely which states have Democratic voter bases that are the most right leaning on socioeconomic and cultural issues?

Most Left-Wing GOP - probably in New England (Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut), but Utah has a significant number of more left-leaning GOP voters

Most Right-Wing Dem - Hawaii, Mississippi, Rhode Island are a few that come to mind. And also states that are just very conservative overall like Wyoming, South Dakota, and Kentucky.

New Jersey's GOP is also relatively socially moderate, although they're fiscally conservative.

GOP:

Econ: WV
Cultural: VT

Dem:

Econ: NJ
Cultural: WV

I'm ignoring completely moribund state parties like the WY Dems. WV Dems are quickly declining but they aren't completely dead yet. Ignoring WV, probably AK or MT.

The West Virginia Dems have had two generations of the progressive wing break away from them in the past two decades, that has got to count for something.

Hawai’i Democrats are oddly right wing as well.

GOP:
econ- RI, WV
social- NH, VT
cultural- NJ, FL

Dem:
econ- FL, DE
social- HI, MS
cultural- maybe IA
