The Rs aren't bluffing they just blocked the defense Bill

Biden says he was a moderate and every Cabinet post he puts up ultra liberals that why he can't control debt

Really Jennifer Granholm Energy Secretary and Gina Raimondo what happened to the moderates he said he waa

Gina Raimondo is an ultra liberal? Even Forbes thought she was too much of a Wall Street crony.

I was talking about Chick Bagel or someone more Moderate or Ben Sasse, he should of taken some Rs to negotiate with Rs not zds, Judd Gregg it's a 4 yr not 8 yr and they can retire if they want

The Rs of course not they're gonna negotiate with all Da

Republicans will say they aren't bluffing.

The deadline will draw near.

The Stock Market will have a temper tantrum.

The people the GOP actually cares about will get mad about it.

Mitch McConnell and the various low-energy GOPers (Capito, Blunt, Shelby, etc) will provide the votes needed to raise the debt ceiling.

Barrasso will lose re-election if he keeps this up. The 5 people who run the WY Dem party have a real shot at nailing him on this issue

Gale McGee was a very lucky guy: got elected in a squeaker during a Democratic wave in 1958, barely reelected in another Democratic wave in 1964, and seemed to hold on in 1970 simply by virtue of being entrenched enough and running on a "look at all the federal money I bring to our small, rural state" message.

Where luck and competence intersect, you get a lot of success.
