People are allowed to hold whatever beliefs they want; what matters more is how people behave here. Off the top of my head, I can think of several prominent users here with opposite-color avatars who are positive influences on the forum community, so merely holding beliefs alone is not enough to warrant a ban from the forum. Additionally, people evolve and can thus change their beliefs over time; for example, I used to support the Clinton wing of the Democratic Party until the aftermath of the 2016 election made me switch my support to the Sanders wing instead.
