As the most goofy member of the teamspeak gang, I regret to post that we have a teamspeak emergency. Ever since October 2004, atlas forum buddies have used teamspeak for fun. From February to June 2005, teamspeak was full of a large cast of hilarious charactors from Naso to Assad to Phil to Peter Bell, ect ect. Then, last year...we had a teamspeak Summer decline, but from September 1st to June 1st, 2006...we were alive and well...with a teamspeak almost everynight in April 2006. However, this past summer has had a significant decline in activity, with no apparent end to the "SUMMER DECLINE" with it already being October.

WE MUST FIX THIS, AND BRING THE FUN BACK FOR ELECTION 2006 AND 2008!!!

NUMBER OF TEAMSPEAKS IN 2006

MARCH:          5
APRIL:            23
MAY:               9
JUNE:              3
JULY:               1
AUGUST:         1
SEPTEMBER:   1
OCTOBER:       0

No, I just saved every teamspeak because I got tired of having to "Durn on" and "Durn off" the record button. We were really good up to about May, when I moved...now I'm settled in...and I have funny video to show. My father actually said he felt bad for me yesterday, because I "Make a lot of effort to make them laugh, and they don't even have the common courtesy of having a teamspeak."

It was funny. Last Tuesday, I was out all day with my mother and sister, and stopped at my grandmothers. I had brought my laptop along, and all three of them wanted to hear funny teamspeak clips, and they all like Assad, Phil and Andrew. So, we spent two hours making a hilarious movie for Phil...and my whole family keeps bugging me, "HAS PHIL WATCHED IT OVER AN OPEN MIC YET?" and I have to keep saying, "No."

Also, I note the sarcasm Assad. I thought you were my friend, but should have known all along. You would make comments like, "He woke up at 1am to talk to strangers on the internet." NO. I woke up at 1am to talk to my friends. You have no idea how much it hurts when someone you consider a friend does nothing but put you down, and yet, I still like you...and I still consider you a friend. When you send me Instant Messages out of the blue like, "Naso, get a ******* life!!!" or when I told you it was my 18th birthday, you said, "Good for you."...didn't even tell me happy birthday.

Exactly, Phil. What the heck is so different between the last three months that suddenly, we can not have teamspeaks? In May, we had successfully seen Assad hit great heights, you began college this fall, and I just turned 18, and am looking into getting a job....but it's not like we have significantly changed.

We are almost all on (myself, Phil, Assad, Andrew, ect) everynight...and we can take atleast 45-60 minutes a night to have conversation and fun.

I just simply don't have the time anymore and when I do I'm doing something else that would limit my teamspeak abilities or I come in and there's no one there or it's just silence. Perhaps in the future but I don't think it will ever be fully back (as in the good ol' days).

I can do chats though.

Naso, Teamspeak is not fun when we do it all of the time like you suggest, it should be a rare thing, maybe once a month if that often.

Once a week.
