Perhaps Ossoff?
Wouldn't he still be an unknown journalist in an alternative Clinton 2016 timeline?

Other candidates: Joe Manchin, Sherrod Brown, Nancy Pelosi, Conor Lamb, Chuck Schumer.

I would argue Joe Biden. Clinton's defeat effectively cleared the way for him to mount his third (and what will probably be his final) bid for the Presidency, an endeavor in which he obviously succeeded. Had Clinton won in 2016, I think she would have been a one-termer, and then some other Republican-probably someone like Rubio, Sandoval, or Haley-would have defeated her in 2020. That Republican would then be the favorite for reelection in 2024, and by then, Biden certainly would have been too old to run for the Presidency.

Senate: Definitely Manchin, Tester, Brown and Rosen. Stabenow, Casey, Baldwin and Menendez would have also all been in trouble in a Clinton midterm.

House: Almost all of the Democrats who flipped Republican seats in 2018.

Manchin played his cards perfectly in terms of establishing the proper relationship with Trump to both keep his base in line and win over increasingly Trumpy independent voters, and still only won by three points and lost a bunch of ancestral Dem areas. Had Clinton been president, he probably would've been Blanched for signing on to any part of her agenda.

Ossoff's political career thus far shares some similarities with that of former President Obama. Both were complete unknowns when they launched their first bid for federal office-a run for the House of Representatives. Both lost that initial bid (Obama in the primary and Ossoff in a general election). But they began building a name for themselves, and went on to win a Senate seat only 3-4 years later. Obama of course, went on to become President just eight years after his failed congressional run, while Ossoff's name has already been floated as a future presidential contender.

Aside from Ossoff, I would say Warnock, Kelly, Sinema, Manchin, Tester, Brown, Pelosi, Schumer, most of the Democratic freshmen of 2018, and Jones (for his 2017 race against Roy Moore), were all beneficiaries of Hillary Clinton's defeat. And I've mentioned Biden, who stands as the primary beneficiary.

Republicans would have the trifecta today, so a fair number.

We aren't in a Trump era, we are in the Biden era, and we are normalized now, we shouldn't be going back to what could of been with Hillary

Just like we will soon turn the page of Pelosi and have Speaker JEFFERIES

Just like the midterms can go smoothly for D's since we are normalized now and the Press isn't attacked by Trump

I'm assuming he means that Jones is dead politically. I still wish that Biden had appointed him Attorney General rather than Garland.

The Squad is up there. I don't know how many of them get into Congress in an alternate 2018 - they were all safe seats - but Trump allowed them to be seen as the most vocal opposition to a figure despised by the establishment Democrats. If they get in anyway and give Clinton a lot of bad headlines to deal with and try to force the party to the left, Clinton and Pelosi likely team up to freeze them out and minimize their impact.

The obvious answer of the Class I Democratic Senators has already been said, so I'll add Kamala Harris to it. She holds the distinction that Clinton always wanted of being "a first."

Barack Obama interestingly enough.

He may have wanted Hillary to win, but Biden has governed as his third term so far. There's no way that's what Hillary would have done.

Joe Biden, duh! If we get President Clinton, Buden retires permanently following the end of his VP term in January 2017.

Bill Clinton

A lot of the #MeToo stuff surrounding him faded into the background. Instead, he has been somewhat rehabilitated as of late. As first gentleman he would've been in the public eye daily.

On the state level, John Bel Edwards and Andy Beshear. Among House Dems, Katie Porter benefited more than most given she was not defeated in 2018 and has established some national prominence.
