I'm not saying it is.... but there seems to be a strong correlation between support for Chafee and the Republican governor.... U don't see that in lets see Tennessee as much.... rasmussen had it at +8.... The gallup polls seem very much in line with rasmussen.... give or take 3 points....

As much as I respect Linc, I think he's toast.

I doubt this is correct but Whitehouse has the edge anyway.

Appearantly having the R-word next to your name in Rhode Island in 2006 is not a good thing.

Despite this poll I still think Chafee is sompetetive.  The Chafees are the last of the great Rhode Island political families; his father was a popular politician for thirty years and he is running from a position of incumbency and fundamentally as a moderate liberal.  He will lose, but more like 47%-52%.

Chafee's going to be regretting that he didn't switch parties from Nov. 8 through his death.

Sad thing is that most of us would have embraced him with open arms.

Definitly and if by some miracle he wins we really need to make a push to switch him.  Maybe a leadership position if we are on the cusp of the majority. Somebody said hookers and boos.  that probably a good idea too, chafee looks like he can knock back a few.
