Announcement of Candidacy

Ladies and Gentlemen of Atlasia,
Over a week ago, I said that I would consider a run for President. After much time and thought, and words of encouragement from people of varying political ideaologies, I have come to a decision, one of which I believe in the best interest of Atlasia and all of its citizens. Having spent 8 of the past 12 months serving as Atlasia's Attorney General, I have had the opportunity to work with conservatives, liberals, libertarians, populists, and centrists. And so I come before you today to ask for the opportunity to serve you again. I am asking you to elect me as your next president.

Joining me on this ticket is a man who was recently elected to the Senate. While we disagree on certain social issues, we both believe that these issues are issues which should be left to the regions, and that the federal government should respect the sovereignty of the regions. My candidate for Vice-President is Mr. Brandon W of Nevada.

Brandon W is a former chairman of the Independent Liberal Party and I am a former vice chairman and current acting chairman of the Atlasian Conservative Alliance. After a decline in membership, the ILP experienced and increase in membership under Brandon W's leadership. And After half of the ACA defected to revive the Republican Party, many thought the ACA would fade into history. But under my leadership, the ACA, though smaller, is still alive. And I believe that of the choices you the voters will have this October, the ticket best qualified to lead Atlasia is the ticket of two men named Brandon.
