US has no idea how it plays the game in easy mode and yet the conversations about “protecting the culture” are so similar that you’d think what’s happening in US is similar to the Europe situation. I kinda wish Latinos weren’t Catholics and the culture didn’t adapt well with the US one. If the country creates so much drama around immigration mostly because they’re more mixed-making the country less white, imagine if immigrants in US were more similar to immigrants in Europe for example, often with radically different world views. I live right outside of Omar's district. And I'm not a stalwart supporter, by any means. But when you folks say/do things like this, you need to understand, you're not making any friends.
