In the two main parties I don't see stars, only meteors about to crash into the planet and wreak destruction.  Smiley

I'm going 45 and under just to make it easier

Harold Ford Jr.
Brad Henry

Republicans:
Tom Kean Jr.

The Shapiro/Gerber team will be ones to watch.  I think Josh Shapiro is the current frontrunner for Allyson Schwartz's seat when she eventually runs for US Senate in 2010.  For being barely older than me, he is making a lot of waves in Harrisburg.

I agree about Shapiro. I hope someone like Torsella would challenge him in the primary so we don't get someone that liberal as our Congressman but Shapiro would still be the favorite. Gerber is a different case. He might not be in the right Congressional district (not sure which one he is in) to become a national rising star.

Schwartz is not that liberal.  Her Progressive Punch Score is 109/435 and Fitz is 212/435.

I think Gerber's in the 6th, but don't quote me on that.

Surprised Brian Schweitzer hasn't gotten the obvious nod from the Dems.

EDIT: Eh, he's a young 51. Wink

I think he's in the 13th, but I'm not 100% positive.  Perhaps he'll run for a state row office in 2010.

Tim Ryan (OH-17) all the way for me.  I see leadership in his future.

Harold Ford Jr also comes to mind, but he needs to win in November.

I would guess Josh--but that's a hunch.

Do you think Sam Katz would run for the Republicans?
