Why should white people learn about Black history?

Not only Black American history, history of Black people globally, Africa, Black British, etc.?

When whites are constantly told "Stay out of our Black business" from people on Twitter, TikTok, social media, etc.

So why be surprised when rightwing American states like Texas, Missouri and Florida ban teaching of "critical race theory", and countries like Great Britain get upset over the demolishing of the slaveholder's statues, etc.

Why should white people learn about Black history?

I dont think anybody will demand people to learn about black history outside of their own country.

Im not sure what tik-toks do you watch that ask white people not to shop at black-owned business, nobody would want to reduce their own customer pool
