To answer the question, I say no. I have retired "African-American" from my vocabulary for the most part, simply because not every black person is of African descent.

honestly the way i see what happened in the last 50 years or so was the man saw that "blacks" and "whites" were starting to unite and integrate together, so they started over policing black neighborhoods so crime rates skyrocket, making white ppl afraid to live there, probably been paying off prominent celebrities and the media to spout anti-race mixing propaganda, have been creating the illusion that the republican and democrat parties support one "race" over another to divide us further, and the media love pushing it because they realized massive profits were to be made from pushing the narrative that we are divided against each other
